Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Pac-Dent, Inc. (“Pac-Dent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website at pac-dent.com (the “Site”), submit inquiries or sample requests, or otherwise interact with us. Please read this policy carefully. By using our Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Overview

Pac-Dent, Inc. is a professional dental supply company headquartered in the City of Industry, California. Our website serves as a product catalog and information resource for dental professionals, practices, and authorized dealers. We do not sell products directly through our website. All product purchases are made through our authorized dealer network.

Because our website is a catalog and informational resource — not a transactional e-commerce platform — the personal information we collect is limited primarily to what you voluntarily provide through our contact forms, sample request forms, and dealer inquiry forms.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly, transparently, and in compliance with applicable laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you interact with our Site, you may voluntarily provide personal information. This includes when you:

  • Complete our Contact Us form — we collect your name, email address, phone number, practice or organization name, job title, state or region, and your message.
  • Submit a Request a Sample form — we collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, practice name, and the product(s) you are requesting.
  • Inquire about becoming an Authorized Dealer or Distributor — we collect your business name, contact information, and relevant business details.
  • Sign up to receive email communications, newsletters, or CE event notifications — we collect your name and email address.
  • Contact us by telephone or email directly — we may retain records of that correspondence.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through standard web technologies, including:

  • Log data: Your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Device information: The type of device you use to access our Site, screen resolution, and hardware configuration.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies to operate the Site, understand how visitors use it, and improve your experience. See Section 5 for more details.

C. Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited information from third-party sources, such as analytics providers (like Google Analytics), authorized dealers or distributors who refer inquiries to us on your behalf, and publicly available sources relevant to dealer and business development inquiries.

D. A Note on Payment Information

Because Pac-Dent does not sell products directly through our website, we do not collect, process, or store any payment card numbers, banking details, or financial account information of any kind. All purchases are handled through our authorized dealer network.

E. WooCommerce

Our website uses WooCommerce in catalog-display mode only. WooCommerce may set session cookies for basic site functionality, but because our site does not process orders or payments, no purchase-related personal data is collected or stored through WooCommerce.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries and contact form submissions.
  • Processing and fulfilling product sample requests.
  • Connecting you with an authorized dealer or regional sales representative.
  • Sending CE course, event, and product update communications, where you have opted in to receive them.
  • Operating, maintaining, and improving our website.
  • Analyzing how visitors use our Site to improve content and user experience.
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Use.
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to our Site.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, or for purposes that are compatible with those original purposes. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Marketing Communications: We will only send you marketing emails or newsletters if you have expressly opted in to receive them. You may opt out at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional messages related to your inquiries or sample requests.

4. How We Share Your Information

Pac-Dent does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

A. Authorized Dealers and Sales Representatives

If you request to be connected with an authorized Pac-Dent dealer or regional sales representative, we will share your contact information (name, email, phone, location) with the appropriate dealer or rep in order to fulfill that request. This is done with your knowledge and for the purpose you indicated.

B. Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services. These providers only have access to your information as necessary to perform their functions and are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose. Our service providers include web hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communication platforms, analytics providers (such as Google Analytics), form and CRM tools, and shipping and fulfillment partners used to deliver product samples.

C. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pac-Dent, our users, or the public.

D. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity. We will notify you of any such transfer and any material changes to how your information is handled, consistent with applicable law.

E. With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit prior consent.
